We strive to show women how to energize their power through the Fierce Feminine Leadership podcast, and we motivate them to step into their role as leaders of business. Everyone has a story of how they became successful entrepreneurs, and we always hear stories that are highly motivating, educational, and awe-inspiring. Our guest today is my good friend Dr. Emily Letran, who is a general dentist and owner of two multi-specialty group practices in Southern California, an ambitious entrepreneur, mom, and a successful high-performance coach.
Dr. Emily is committed to continuous learning, investing in herself and taking courses around her specialty of clinical dentistry and practice management, marketing, business growth, and development. She is the author of several books, and she is dedicated to helping business people maximize their potential in life and business, streamline their business, and increase their profit.
On today’s episode, you’ll hear Dr. Emily’s amazing and moving personal story, her philosophy on life and business, and her strategies to help you become the best fierce feminine leader you can be.
“If you think of all the great leaders, no one grows a big business empire by themselves – everyone has a team of people behind them.” Dr. Emily Letran

Gut instincts are critical for women in business. Your gut helps you accurately read other people, respond to information quickly, and build a version of success that perfectly suits YOUR unique needs and desires. But many high achieving women disconnect from their instincts over time. In this episode Eleanor shares one simple tip for connecting and trusting your gut instincts…and allowing them to guide you.
In today’s episode, I am joined by the fabulous Australian-based mentor, speaker, and the expert in Wellness Psychology and Human Potential, Suzi Petrozzi. Suzi has worked with thousands of high-achieving, successful women in business around the globe, helping them overcome obstacles and move past crossroads in their lives and careers that are often developed over emotional barriers. In our last episode of Fierce Feminine Leadership, We talked a little about emotional barriers, criticism, taking things personally, and self-awareness. Today, Suzi shares her expert knowledge and experiences while helping her high-achieving, successful clients and explains what you need to do to overcome your emotional obstacles, what questions you need to ask yourself to break down barriers and transform yourself and your career down the path of success.

Whether you are running a business or running a marathon, high-performance is a critical skill to have in order to “finish the race.” As many of my wonderful listeners already know, I am a huge fan of high-performing women, athletes, entrepreneurs, and business executives. However, throughout my coaching experience, I often see many women that have the potential to be high performers, but somehow fail to unlock that potential – leaving it on the table. Today, I share with you four critical psychological skills that all high-performers must have and master in order to achieve success in life, business, and sports.
Unless you’re living a high-performance lifestyle in business and life, you are leaving potential on the table.
My Challenge for You:
The 4 Critical Psychological Skills of High-Performers:
When you unlock your capacity by 10, 15, 20 percent – think about what is going to be possible for your family, the people you love, and humanity as a whole.
Book Recommendation:
I highly recommend checking out Annette Verschuren’s new book, “Bet On Me,” an inspiring book on Annette’s philosophy on what it takes to be a highly successful leader.

Do you get frustrated at how long things are taking? Do you think things should be much easier? As a coach, I notice impatience is normal among fierce feminine leaders, so rest assured you’re not alone. Possessing and bringing a sense of urgency to your business is a positive step but it can go the opposite way where your impatience causes you to resist embracing a high level of performance.
Years ago, I had the opportunity to interview Stanford University psychologist Dr. Carol Dweck who is the author of the book Mindset which is like a bible to me in my coaching practice. Her book pinpoints two type of mindsets, fixed and growth, and how we use these attitudes to either move forward or keep us back from realizing our goals.
So, on today’s episode, I’ll talk about fixed and growth mindset so you understand what may be keeping you back from your goals. Our attitudes are not set in stone, and many intelligent and competitive women break out of their negative mindsets to achieve success no matter how long it takes.

An interesting point was mentioned during my last episode while interviewing Vicki Saunders, the founder of SheEO. She said that women are not asking for help in their businesses – that many women feel they need to do everything on their own in order to be, or feel, successful and accomplished. In reality, though, it is incredibly hard to do everything on your own without asking for help and developing a team.
In this episode, I want to share some tips with you on five ways you can ask for help, and three ways you can ask in the right way.
5 Ways You Can Ask for Help:
3 Tips on How To Ask for Help In the Right Way
“The most dangerous thing that can happen to a leader is that she begins to cut herself off from information” – Eleanor Beaton
