This week on the podcast, I’m rolling back one of my most significant episodes to date where I share my coaching philosophy. By the end of this episode, you’ll have a much clearer idea of how to apply my teachings to a deeper context and how they relate to your own business.

Many of you listening sell knowledge and transformation through your expertise, whether it’s as a coach, consultant, author, or podcaster. And one thing I often see in these areas is entrepreneurs rushing into packaging and marketing something just so they can get it out into the world as fast as possible. However, this never produces the most important result your business needs: maximum value for your clients. This is where your philosophy comes into play.

My hope here is to help you discover the core philosophies that underpin your own offers and what you’re putting out into the world. This work will give you the kind of powerful grounding that allows you to grow and show up from a place of alignment, authenticity, and purpose in your business.

Tune in this week as I walk you through what a coaching philosophy is and the two pillars of my coaching philosophy for women entrepreneurs. I’m sharing why having an outlined philosophy is so important, and how to start getting clear on what yours might be.

Today on the Power + Presence + Position Podcast:

  • The importance of getting clear on your business’s promised land.
  • What a jewel business is and how building one will transform how you grow.

In today’s episode, we’re exploring one of the most powerful forces driving the global economy: women buyers. Whether you sell B2B, B2C, high-end furniture, software as a service, life coaching, or books, the chances are that women are often making the decision to buy from you or not.

Knowing how to connect with, build trust with, and respect women buyers is really important if you want to sell to them. And trust me, with a total global spending power of $18 trillion, equivalent to the world’s second biggest economy, you need to know how to sell to women buyers. However, while we have a lot of money, we’re also not necessarily an easy market to sell to.

For most founders and entrepreneurs, there are actually just one or two core things that you do that actually produce revenue. So, if I were to quiz you, would you know exactly what those revenue-generating activities are? Well, by the end of this episode you will have a clear and decisive answer.

I call any activity that produces revenue a $10,000 or a $100,000 task, and knowing what those tasks are is critical. However, many of us busy ourselves with tasks that aren’t bringing home the bacon.

Around the fall of last year, I started thinking more deeply about how I was using my time and if there were better ways to spend it. The kind of leader I wanted to be was one who could serve her mission, team, and community at the highest level, but my current calendar didn’t reflect that.

To show up as the energized and connected leader I wanted to be, I needed to make some shifts to how I was spending and scheduling my time. I know so many of you are feeling drained, overwhelmed, or exhausted by your calendars, and I can totally relate.

As entrepreneurs, we’re raised in a culture that says more is better. You need to hustle and grind your way to the top. But if you’ve been listening to this podcast for any length of time, you know that I am not about that life.

There is definitely a time and place for us to get our hands dirty and work hard. It’s when that level of intense work becomes the norm that we become numb to our pain and the things that bother us.

Over the last couple of months, I have been highlighting women leaders and founders who are taking a different approach to scaling their businesses. I have another one of those conversations to share with you today, but this one is about scaling your social impact.

There is so much more to building a feminist business than paying your female team members fairly. It’s not only only about pay, but it’s about your business policies, your pricing, your accessibility, and your team.

My guest today is a powerhouse in feminist leadership and entrepreneurship. She’s one of those women that, as she rises, she brings everyone up with her. Her business operates with the knowledge and understanding of intersectional feminism, meaning she acknowledges every woman's unique experience as not just a female, but their other marginalized identities too.

Niching is a deceptively simple business tool that everybody thinks they know. People think they are niched down enough, but in reality, they are not as focused as they need to be to scale from six figures to seven.

If you want to pass that million dollar mark, you need to be practicing the art of deep niching. This is not simply narrowing down your ideal clients and your specific slice of the market you serve. Deep niching is so much more nuanced and complex, and it is the key to going big.

Our culture tells us from an early age what working with other women and for other women will be like. There can be jealousy, competition, alienation, and more, so beware. This leads to women entering the workforce prepared to be uncomfortable, anticipating the subtle meanness of other women, and some vow to never work for a female boss or be part of an all-female team again.

This is called female rivalry, and it impacts women entrepreneurs too. But female rivalry is complex. It’s hard to put your finger on how it shows up because it’s subtle. Luckily, my guest today specializes in this topic and helping women overcome it.

I’ve been talking a lot on the podcast about feminine energy and the role it plays in wealth creation and business building. For so long, women entrepreneurs have played by the same rules as our male counterparts, unknowingly denying this tremendous power in each of us to lead, manage, and generate wealth.

My guest today is the epitome of embracing feminine energy and using it to grow a massive 8-figure business. Michelle Bosch is a badass entrepreneur, investor, mom, and proud first generation immigrant. Together with her husband, Michelle created The Land Profit Generator Program to help others grow their generational wealth through land investing.

Michelle’s entrepreneurial journey started with focusing solely on  KPIs, metrics, and numbers. While she still has a strong ability to analyze numbers in a business, she also shows up with immense compassion. Today, her journey includes making time and space for her intuition, for flow, and for her feminine energy.

In this episode, Michelle and I talk about the power of shifting from a transactional mindset in business to a more transformational one. Michelle shares her story of immigrating from Honduras and how her late father’s investment paved the way for her career in investing. KPIs are always important, but as you’ll hear today, taking quantum leaps internally is just as important for building wealth.

Today on the Power + Presence + Position Podcast:

  • An example of how harmonious growth can yield the same results as forced growth.
  • 3 quantum leaps Michelle took to build tremendous wealth.
  • How Michelle created and grew her passive income.
  • Why exploring your whys for building wealth is so important.
  • How Michelle describes her relationship with money.
  • Why money has a neutral charge.

One of the most powerful shifts you can make as a CEO is to stop asking yourself how, and start asking yourself who. I know so many of you are struggling with time management and are feeling overwhelmed. What if you didn’t have to do everything on your own?

Your ability to find, identify and collaborate with the right people will skyrocket your abilities as an entrepreneur. Part of finding those people is cultivating a killer network of like minded people who can help take your business to new heights- which is what my guest today is known for.

Have you ever noticed how most advice about growing a business is externally oriented? We go out to find new markets; we go out to get feedback. While I still stand with those strategies, I also think that looking outwards is only one part of the equation.

There is massive value to be found when you do the internal work to grow your business. My guest today has built her business by doing the opposite of what most business advice says and instead, took a deeply personal and internal approach. I find her journey so incredibly inspiring and fascinating, I just knew I needed to have her on the podcast to discuss it.

Your email list is one of the most lucrative assets you can build. It doesn’t matter what industry you’re in; it doesn’t matter what you sell. The fortune is in your email list, also known as your database.

Data is a powerful currency in today’s business climate. Many entrepreneurs (wrongly) believe that the key to garnering more data is by getting more names on their list. This might be what you've been trying to do for your business, but it’s not the strategy I recommend, and today I will tell you why.

Adding more and more names to your email list will not help you scale your business. What truly helps you scale is the strength of your relationships with your email list. My colleagues and I have built an incredibly lucrative list full of women who open my emails every week, who tell me when they like or don’t like what they read, and who want to hear about my juicy offers. And they are juicy.

In this episode, I’m sharing my 3 tips for growing a valuable, lucrative, and highly-qualified email list. You’ll learn how to get rid of email list toxins or people who never open your emails, how to start building relationships with your readers, and the power of becoming an edutainer. I’m not sugarcoating anything this week, or ever, so get ready for a transparent, informative, and impactful look behind the scenes at my email strategy.

Today on the Power + Presence + Position Podcast:

  • What email deliverability is and why it matters.
  • How I get people to unsubscribe from my list.
  • Why transactions are not the same as relationships.
  • What edutainment is and how it sustains attention.
  • What happens when people read your emails consistently.
  • The core intention I want you to consider about your email list.
