Do you tend to put others before yourself? Do you shrink away from being powerful because you associate it with aggression or dominance which we consider to be masculine traits? Many of us want to step into our power, but we don’t want to have the negative connotations of manliness attributed to us, and we may see it as a burden and become invisible instead of reveling in our magical power. Today’s guest, Lynette Allen tells us that being a driving force in your home, community, and in your organization, is a characteristic that needs to be embraced and nurtured because we are fierce and ambitious leaders.

Lynnette is an international speaker, author, coach, trainer, wife, and mother and the founder of Her Invitation, a website dedicated to helping women keep their power rather than give it away.  She shows women how to be powerful and influential, so they don’t let their quiet command go to waste. Lynette helps women embrace their significance in their world and value their greatness and the talents they bring to every situation so they can be instrumental in creating harmony in the world.

Today Lynette shares her personal story, the story of how she came to be a coach who empowers women – helping them accept their brand of power, so they step into their confidence and become the ambitious women in business they aspire to be.

“We are hugely powerful and we control quite a lot of stuff in our family and our work so we really turn the wheels at home and at the workplace but we don’t see our own power.” – Lynette Allen
