We received an unprecedented number of emails and messages about episode 421, my conversation with Barbara Huson, about getting wired for wealth. So many of you were thanking us for that conversation and sharing your thoughts on aiming for wealth instead of riches.
One of the things that really stood out to me in that interview was Barbara’s dedication to her focus, to her zone of genius. She has spent three decades working with women on rewiring their mindsets for wealth. We talk a lot about niching down and nailing your message here, and to say she is an expert would be an understatement.
I know so many of you were inspired by Barbara to achieve wealth in your own businesses. If that’s you, it’s time to stop dickering around doing all the things, serving all the people, and start focusing on just one thing. It’s time to have zone of genius discipline.
In today’s episode, I’m unpacking what it means to have zone of genius discipline and showing how Barbara’s body of work is a perfect example of the success that comes with specializing. There’s a tremendous temptation to be a generalist these days, but I invite you to imagine what your life would be like if you had the courage to dive deeper, niche down, and sink further into your zone of genius.

Many of you sell knowledge and transformative work to your clients and customers. Some of you are coaches, authors and podcasters, and others are expertise providers. In our programming, we teach you to package your expertise as intellectual property, but I want to invite you to take it even deeper.
I share what I share in these podcasts and in our programs to help you think more deeply about your business and the core philosophies that underpin your offerings. Sometimes we rush to package and market something so we can get it out into the world, but this causes very important elements to get overlooked.
I encourage you in this episode to really flesh out what your business philosophy is and how it impacts your business decisions. When you can get crystal clear on your philosophy, every decision you make comes from a place of alignment and authenticity.
Listen in today to find out how to craft your philosophy if you don’t already have one, why making it super clear is so important, and how our philosophy here at Safi Media guides everything we do. Discover what typically happens to businesses that don't have a philosophy and how creating yours could be the key that unlocks more cash, influence, and autonomy.

Have you ever heard the phrase, “Revenue is vanity and profit is sanity”? The idea is that it’s not how much money you make, it’s actually how much of it you keep. There are plenty of 7-figure earners out there, but not all of them are wealthy. Some are actually broke.
I would love for you to both make and keep a ton of money because doing so brings so much peace of mind and freedom. To help you understand how to build a business that results in you being wealthy and not broke, I’ve invited the Queen of Money herself onto the show today.
Jackie Porter is an entrepreneur, author, media commentator and financial expert who helps women entrepreneurs like us make money, keep money, and avoid becoming broke millionaires. Women entrepreneurs don’t have the same opportunities as male entrepreneurs to build wealth, and Jackie is passionate about changing that.
In today’s episode, Jackie and I discuss the differences between closing sales in your business and having something to show for it. We talk about the importance of women increasing their financial literacy and some ways you can do that, as well as her advice for managing your money and building wealth. To get the cash, influence, and autonomy we all want, we need to learn more about our money and start nurturing positive relationships with it.

Your business doesn’t exist in a vacuum. You’re part of a global supply chain with the team members you employ, the contractors you hire, and the customers from other countries who buy from you. Then there’s the money you take out of your business and spend in your local economy.
As a business owner, you are part of a big global money tapestry called the economy. And learning about that tapestry can help you make better business decisions. Unfortunately, most mainstream economic discussions cater to men and male business owners, leaving women entrepreneurs out.
I have two brilliant guests on the podcast today who share my passion for helping women feel confident joining the conversation around global economics and money. Katrine Marcal is an economist and author, and Linda Davies is a former investment banker turned author. Both have incredibly useful insights on how the world economy has shifted over the last 18 months and how it will continue to shape our businesses over the next two years.
Listen in today to hear my conversation with Katrine and Linda all about the global economy, women’s presence and participation, and how you can feel confident entering the discussion. Discover why it feels so uncomfortable approaching the topic of economics and why your voice matters. We’re sharing how you can start learning about economics today and how doing so will tremendously benefit your business.

You have a message to share with your people about who you are and what your business does. But, the idea of showing up on video to share that message paralyzes you. Stepping into the spotlight seems terrifying, and this fear prevents you from sharing your message.
As the CEO of your company, and especially if you’re a company of one, it’s very important to be a spokesperson for your organization and its mission. You might be scared of showing up and being judged, criticized, corrected, or maybe you just don’t like how you look on camera. These reasons for not being visible aren’t serving you and they aren’t helping you be the strong leader your company needs.
My guest today is an expert on showing up authentically and powerfully online and in front of the camera. Keri Murphy is my dear friend and the CEO and founder of Inspired Living. As an international speaker, media expert, and business mentor, she’s a master at showing entrepreneurs how to show up authentically on camera and how to leverage video in their branding.
In today’s episode, Keri and I discuss the incredible act of courage it is to show up authentically and to share your truth. Keri walks us through her experience with visibility and how she helps entrepreneurs work through their discomfort so they can be the strong, visible leaders their businesses need. From social media to how our comfort changes as we age, Keri and I cover it all in this episode and you do not want to miss it.
