No stranger will get in your car and ride with you if you aren’t clear where you’re taking them. In marketing, we call this destination the ‘promised land.’ It’s where your customers want to go based on what you tell them in your messaging about your brand, offerings, products and services.

Of course, the concept of the promised land isn’t just used in marketing. It’s found in Greek mythology, Nordic mythology, and most religions. As humans, we’re obsessed with getting to the final destination. It’s why we watch before-and-after transformation shows. We want to see what the promised land looks like and how we can get there.

If you aren’t clear on your offering’s promised land, why would a customer hop on board for the journey? When marketing your business and your offerings, you want to take time to get clear on what the promised land you offer is. What is the promised destination your customer wants to arrive at?

Listen in today as I spell out how you can dramatically improve your marketing by clearly articulating your promised land to your customers. I’m breaking down the allure we as humans have to promised lands and how to tap into that innate interest in your marketing. I’ll share some examples of brands that are completely nailing the marketing for their promised lands and how you can create and market yours.

Today on the Power + Presence + Position Podcast:

  • What the promised land means in marketing.
  • How humans have been obsessed with the promised land for centuries.
  • How each of your offerings has their own promised land.
  • Some examples of brands that are nailing their promised land marketing.
  • How you can discover and cultivate the promised land for your offering.

What is the end game for you and your business? I would bet that you’d like to be working less, spending time with those you love more, and making a positive impact on the causes you care about. Like me, you want CIA: Cash, Influence, and Autonomy.

But if you are the biggest asset your business has, you won’t be able to achieve CIA. You will continue to be overworked and overwhelmed by your business. If that sounds like you, you need to listen to this episode. Time management is not your problem, queen, leverage is your problem.

So many women entrepreneurs fall into this trap of over-functioning and under-leveraging. This trap that you’re in with so many other women could cost you millions of dollars over the next few years. I’m so excited to tell you that I have a proven and effective solution to get you out of this trap and on your way to CIA. It’s all about creating and leveraging your core offer.

In today’s episode, I’m sharing what happened when I was personally overleveraged and my team and processes were underleveraged. We’re talking about creating your core offer and leveraging the heck out of it through the 3 Ms of creating and marketing a core offer. You will learn why you need to start building assets instead of being the asset in your business, and how creating and marketing a 7-figure core offer is the way to do it. If you can commit to this, you will be giving yourself and your family the life-changing gift of an asset that brings you CIA.

Today on the Power + Presence + Position Podcast:

  • Why time management is not your problem and leverage is.
  • What CIA is and how to make it your end game.
  • What leverage is and what happens when we overleverage ourselves.
  • Some examples of highly successful core leveraged offers.
  • How to implement the 3 Ms of creating and marketing a core offer.
  • The difference between a core offer and your brand promise.

Are you struggling to take your business to the next level? Perhaps you have a killer marketing strategy and a business that fulfills and excites you. Yet for some reason, your prospects aren’t buying what you’re selling. One of the most common reasons for this problem is that you don’t believe.

If you don’t believe in your offerings, your prospects’ abilities, or yourself, your customers won’t either. The truth is, to sell more you need to believe harder. But it’s not as simple as showing up for your business every day. Belief takes more than just showing up, and there are three different categories of belief that you need to focus on.

In my coaching, I see tons of women entrepreneurs who lack belief in these different categories and it directly impacts their sales. Some of you are marketing an offering you don’t actually want to deliver. Some of you don’t believe your prospects can get the results you want to guarantee. And many of you simply don’t believe that you have the power to do the selling.

In today’s episode, I’m sharing the three categories of belief that you need to have in order to sell more. The harder you believe in these categories, the more you will sell. I give some real examples of each belief and the ways you can work through your limitations. And, I take you through an exercise to evaluate your level of belief in each category so you know where you can improve. If you want your prospects to believe what you’re marketing so you can sell more, start with believing harder.

Today on the Power + Presence + Position Podcast:

  • The 3 types of beliefs that you must cultivate in order to sell more.
  • How to elevate your belief across these 3 categories.
  • Why I always pay attention to feelings of freedom and constriction.
  • Why so many of us have a Superwoman Complex and how it affects our teams.
  • How believing in yourself is a learned skill.
  • An exercise for evaluating your belief levels and ways to improve.

My grandpa once told me that it is a woman’s prerogative to change her mind. In every scenario and especially in business, you have the power to niche down, do a big scale do-over or reposition whenever you think you need to. Successful leaders and entrepreneurs exercise the right to change their minds.

My guest today is the perfect example of a successful entrepreneur ending one business to start another that felt more aligned with her ambitions and goals. If your business doesn’t fulfill you or make you happy, eventually it will plateau. But, being aware of your positioning and knowing when it’s time to pivot can prevent that.

This is easier said than done because as women, we’ve been conditioned to fit in and never leave anyone behind, including customers. How do you uplevel your business and move on from your loyal following?

In today’s episode, I’m joined by sales coach and “unapologetic wealth creator,” Jess Lorimer. Jess is the founder of Smart Leader Sell and focuses on corporate sales, but this isn’t what her business always looked like. She’s sharing how her decision to take bold action came about and how she implemented it. We’ll discuss the bumps she faced along the way as well as the reasons women entrepreneurs struggle with taking massive action. If you have ever wanted to call time-out on the business you are building, this episode is for you.

Today on the Power + Presence + Position Podcast:

  • What prompted Jess to make the decision to change her business.
  • What happens when you aren’t fulfilled by the business you’re building.
  • How women are socialized not to leave anyone behind.
  • Why women hold themselves back from making major decisions.
  • The 2 different types of fear we face as business owners.
  • Why selling transparently is the least sleazy form of sales.
