Women have been successful in moving into the middle management positions within their companies and organizations, but despite the number of women’s initiative events, social gatherings, and conferences, the number of women in senior leadership roles has barely moved over the last few decades. Many women initiative event organizers host events that provide little more than a way for the group of women within their organizations to gather, chat, and network with each other.
